GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT

Welcome to the Fox Theatre! We are delighted to have you as our guest. To ensure that everyone enjoys their experience, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the following code of conduct:

Respectful Behavior:

  • Please be considerate and respectful to fellow guests, performers, and staff members.
  • Refrain from disruptive behavior, including talking loudly, using mobile devices, or engaging in any activity that may disturb others.
  • Guests shall not stand on seats or any other building structure.
  • Guests shall not block the aisles.
  • Guests shall not occupy a seat or remain in an area for which they do not possess a valid ticket and shall provide their ticket upon request.
  • Guests shall supervise their children at all times.
  • Guests shall not interfere with the event, or the performers in any way.
  • Guests who engage in disruptive behavior (including foul/abusive language or obscene gestures), fighting, throwing objects, or attempting to enter the stage or backstage areas will be immediately ejected from the venue without refund or reimbursement.
  • Guests are encouraged to promptly report any incidents, concerns, or instances of inappropriate behavior to venue personnel.
  • Guests shall comply with requests from theatre staff regarding theatre operational and emergency procedures.

Emergency & Safety Procedures:

  • All guests must undergo metal detection screening before entering the building.
  • All weapons are prohibited with or without a license.
  • Once you exit the Fox Theatre, no re-entry is allowed.
  • Familiarize yourself with the theatre's emergency exits and procedures.
  • Follow instructions from staff in the event of an emergency.

Arrival and Seating:

  • Arrive on time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
  • Download your digital tickets on your mobile device and have them ready to be scanned upon arrival. If you have physical tickets, make sure to print them and have them ready to be scanned.
  • Follow the ushers' instructions for seating.
  • Late arrivals may be asked to wait until an appropriate break in the performance to be seated.

Food and Beverages:

  • No outside food or beverage is permitted inside the venue.
  • Please be mindful of potential spills and dispose of any waste in the provided bins.
  • Guests who consume alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner.
  • Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated, or underage guest will be handled promptly and safely. Management reserves the right to deny entry into the venue and/or refuse service to guests displaying visible signs of impairment/intoxication.

Electronic Devices:

  • Turn off or silence all electronic devices, including mobile phones, during the performance to avoid disruptions.
  • Refrain from using cameras, recording devices, or any other electronic equipment without prior authorization.

Photography and Recording:

  • Photography, recording, or any form of reproduction of the performance is strictly prohibited unless otherwise specified.

Quiet Enjoyment:

  • Engage in quiet conversation during intermissions only and be mindful of noise levels in public areas.
  • In consideration of our fellow patrons, we kindly request that if your child becomes fussy or disruptive during the performance, you escort them to our designated quiet area. This ensures a comfortable environment for all attendees.  

Personal Belongings:

  • Keep personal belongings in your designated seating area to avoid obstructing walkways and aisles.
  • The Fox Theatre is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged items.
  • While there is no formal dress code required at the Fox Theatre, we kindly ask for all guests to wear the basics, shoes, shirt, etc.

Fox Theatre staff members are trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report inappropriate behavior to the nearest staff member. Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without a refund. If you feel that our staff does not address any issues to your satisfaction, please request to speak with a supervisor or manager immediately. Venue management reserves the right to approve, adjust, or enforce any policy at their discretion.
